Party bags go home with every guest, and a tag on each saves an argument over whose is whose. This version prints 12 tags on one A4 sheet, each 40 by 70 mm with a 6 mm hole near one end. Each tag is filled with a solid colour from WallKiwi's bright mix, coral, sunshine yellow, kiwi green, sky blue, lilac and berry in turn, with a white star, Thanks for coming in playful white lettering, a To line left blank for the guest's name and From Isla printed in bold. On the yellow tags everything prints in dark green so it stays readable.
To make your own, type the birthday child's name in From, such as Leo or Maya and Sam. Change the message if you like: Thank you for coming to my party, or a theme, such as Thanks for coming to the zoo. A party of 20 needs two sheets, which gives four spares. Choose white tags with a coloured edge instead of solid colour if the bags are coloured, or to save ink.
Fill in the guests' names before the party from the invitation list, so the bags can be handed out at the door without a search. If a younger child is writing the names, print the guests' names in pencil first for them to go over. Let the birthday child tie the tags on: it is a good job for the morning of the party and keeps them busy.
Print at 100% on 200 gsm card. Solid colour uses a fair amount of ink, so check the cartridge first. Cut the sheet along the shared lines, punch the hole through the marked circle and tie each tag to the bag handle with curling ribbon, or staple it to the top of a paper bag.
