This sheet prints 12 birthday gift tags, each 40 by 70 mm with a hole at one end. Every tag has a star, Happy birthday in rounded lettering and To and From lines, and the colours run through WallKiwi's bright mix: coral, sunshine yellow, kiwi green, sky blue, lilac and berry.

About this version

Birthday tags are needed all year, one or two at a time, so this version prints a full sheet to keep in a drawer. It prints 12 small tags on one A4 sheet, each 40 by 70 mm, lying on its side with a 6 mm hole near one end. Each tag has a small star, Happy birthday in rounded lettering, and To and From lines to write on. A fine line runs inside the edge, and the colours run through WallKiwi's bright mix in turn, coral, sunshine yellow, kiwi green, sky blue, lilac and berry, so the sheet gives two tags of each. On the yellow tags the words print in dark green so they stay easy to read.

To personalise them, type a name in To, such as Ava, and every tag says it, which suits a pile of presents for one child on the day. Add an age as the second line, such as You're 7, or change the message to Happy 40th or Many happy returns. For an adult, choose one colour, such as navy or charcoal, and the classic lettering.

Small tags suit most presents, from a book to a bottle, and are the right size to tie to the handle of a gift bag. For a big present, a luggage tag gives more room; for a card that fits inside, choose the folded tag. Keep a few spares with the wrapping paper, and write the To line in pencil first if you are wrapping for several people at once.

Print at 100% on card of 200 to 250 gsm. Cut the sheet along the straight lines, which are shared between neighbouring tags, so the sheet comes apart in a few cuts. Punch the hole through the marked circle and tie the tag on with curling ribbon or string.
