Conference table name cards

This set prints eight large folded name cards for a conference, a panel or a meeting, each with the person's name in navy rounded lettering and their organisation underneath, on both sides. About this version

Name cards on a meeting table help a chair call on people, help a panel audience know who is speaking, and help everyone at a workshop remember names after the first round of introductions. They need to be read from across a room, so this set uses the large card. Each card prints the name in WallKiwi's rounded lettering, a clean, plain style, with the organisation in smaller lettering underneath, all in navy and with no decoration. The eight sample cards run from Dr Helen Okafor of Northgate Housing Trust to Ben Achterberg of Fenland Growers.

The large card is 105 mm wide and 148 mm tall flat, A6, and folds across the middle into a tent 105 by 74 mm on each side, the size of an A7 card. The name and organisation print on both halves, so people on either side of a table can read them, which matters at a round table or a panel with an audience behind. Two cards fit a landscape A4 sheet, so eight cards take four sheets.

Type each person on a line, with the organisation after a bar: Ruth Evans | Riverside Council. Use a job title instead, such as Chair or Treasurer, for a committee or a board meeting, or a role such as Speaker or Facilitator. Leave the second line out entirely for a workshop where only first names matter. Navy reads as businesslike; charcoal and forest green suit too. Standard-size cards fit more to a sheet if the tables are small.

Print at 100% on white card of 200 to 250 gsm. Cut along the dashed lines, score and fold along the dotted line, and stand each card at the front edge of the table facing the room. Bring a few spare blank cards and a dark felt pen for people who were not on the list. Collect the cards at the end of the day; they keep for the next meeting of the same group.
