This set prints Club news in forest green rounded capitals 20 cm tall as one strip across ten A4 portrait sheets, glued at each join, about 1.8 m long. Six solid green headers, 27.7 by 9 cm, print two to a sheet: Fixtures, Results, Training, Kit, Subs and fees, and Committee.

A clubhouse notice board is read from across a bar or a changing room, often by people in a hurry to find out when and where they are playing on Saturday. This set uses the biggest banner size the tool offers. Club news prints in forest green rounded capitals 20 cm tall, inside a band with a green rule along its top and bottom edges. At that size one letter is wider than an A4 sheet, so the banner prints as a single strip across ten portrait sheets, numbered left to right, with a 1 cm glue strip down the right-hand side of each sheet. Once glued it is about 1.8 m long. Six section headers follow: Fixtures, Results, Training, Kit, Subs and fees, and Committee, each a solid forest green strip 27.7 by 9 cm with white lettering and a fine white inner line, two to a landscape sheet. That is thirteen sheets in all.
Change the green to your club colours: navy, berry, sky blue, coral or charcoal all print well as a solid strip. Swap the headers to suit your sport, such as Team sheets, Match fees, Juniors, Social events, Sponsors or Lost kit. If the wall is shorter than 1.8 m, choose 15 cm letters, which fit about two to a sheet with no gluing, or shorten the words to Fixtures.
Put Fixtures and Results at the top, where they change every week and draw people to the board. A selection or team sheet section is best near the changing room door. Keep the committee contacts and safeguarding officer details up to date, because a parent new to the club will look for them first.
To assemble the banner, lay the sheets face up in order. Trim the left margin off every sheet after the first, along the crop marks, then lay each sheet over the glue strip of the one before so the letters line up, and glue or tape it from behind. A strip of mounting board or foam board behind the finished banner keeps it flat in a damp clubhouse. Laminate the headers if they hang near the bar.
