About this version

A table plan does not have to be one big poster. Many couples peg a card for each table to a length of twine, stick them to a large mirror or an old window frame, hang them from a wooden ladder or clip them to a board of photos. This set prints one card per table for that kind of display. Each card has the table name at the top in large classic lettering, a short rule with a diamond, the guests listed in the middle, and the line Lucy and Sam, 22 August 2026 at the foot, all in berry inside a fine double frame. The title line, Find your table, is left off the cards: write it on the board or mirror, or print it with the event sign maker.

Each card is A5, 148 mm wide and 210 mm tall. Two cards print side by side on a landscape A4 sheet with one dashed cut line down the middle, so six tables take three sheets. The six sample tables are named after flowers, Bluebell, Foxglove, Honeysuckle, Lavender, Peony and Primrose, with seven guests each, 42 in all. On every card the guests share one size, chosen so the longest name fits across the card.

Type your own plan: each table's name on its own line ending in a colon, then its guests. The cards take any table names, and long names go onto two lines. Tick the sort option to list each table's guests A to Z by surname. To match table name cards on the tables themselves, make the same names with the wedding table numbers tool, and the place card maker for each guest.

Print at 100% on card and cut along the dashed line. For a peg line, punch a hole at each top corner or use small wooden pegs; for a mirror, a loop of washi tape on the back of each card holds well and comes off cleanly. Hang the cards in the same order as the tables in the room, and put the display somewhere with good light, because guests read it in the evening as well as the afternoon.
