About this version

A small wedding, a register office ceremony followed by lunch in a restaurant's private room, or a second wedding with close family only, does not need an easel and an A1 board. This plan fits one A4 sheet that can stand in a frame on a table by the door. It prints Please find your seat in WallKiwi's handwriting lettering, a soft, written style, Helen and Graham, 6 September 2026 underneath, a short rule with a diamond, and four table cards in two columns, all in gold inside a fine double frame. Gold prints as a warm mustard tone.

The four tables seat 26 guests: six at Table 1, six at Table 2, eight at Table 3 and six at Table 4. The guests on each table are sorted A to Z by surname, the last word of each name, so Esther and Femi Adeyemi come first on Table 1 and Kate Lindqvist, Bridget and Colin Moss and Asha Patel follow. With so few guests the names print at 15 pt, the largest the tool uses on A4, and the plan sits in the middle of the sheet with room around it.

Type your own tables and guests, each table's name on a line ending in a colon. Untick the sort option to keep the order you typed, such as couples side by side or a top table in seat order. For a restaurant with one long table, a single table with every guest listed works too; a place card for each seat is often more use there. If gold does not suit, choose sage, navy, berry or charcoal, or black for printing on kraft or coloured card.

Print at 100% on card and put the plan in an A4 frame without the glass, or on a small table easel, at the door to the room. A4 also fits a menu holder on the bar. For a slightly bigger poster, switch the paper to A3, and the same plan prints larger with names up to 20 pt. Make matching place cards for the guests with the place card maker, using the same spellings.
